www.calonlanfood.com
Calon Lan is a young company based in Llangefni on
Anglesey under the directorship of Geraint Hughes and Dafydd Gruffydd.
They set out enthusiastically to launch a range of healthy cooking
oils at the start of 2007. Geraint’s interest in growing food
and Dafydd’s shameless willingness to experiment in the kitchen
was the perfect combination to establish a company proud in no ordinary
food. The unusual range includes Camelina Oil, Hemp Oil, Avocado Oil
and recently rubs, dips and pestos.

produce the fantastic 'Daioni' Organic Milk shake. They don’t
come cheap, but good things never do.

www.cadwaladersicecream.co.uk
Cadwalader's Ice Cream was started by husband
and wife team David and Hannah when they built and opened the shop
in Castle Street, Criccieth back in 1927. The Cadwalader's ice creams
are 93% fat free, made to the famous secret recipe of ‘6lb of
shan’t tell you’ and a great deal of love and care. The
Cadwaladers use only fresh milk straight from the farm and the fully
pasteurised egg in their ice creams. And as everyone likes to indulge
themselves a little, there is nothing better than a bit of traditional
vanilla ice creams every now and then.

www.trioni.com
Several years ago after converting the 1100 acre mixed
farm in north Pembrokeshire to organic production, Lawrence and Eira
launched Daioni, the first range of organic flavoured milk drinks
in Britain. We need to tell you that Daioni Flavoured milk is not
like the majority of flavoured milk drinks and is considered by sports
nutrionists for top teams to be the best product of its kind on the
market. It’s low in fat (less than 2% fat) and low in sugar
(less than 4.5%), has no artificial colour or flavour, and it’s
Welsh at its best!

www.sccwales.co.uk
Established since 1938 and located just 3 miles
down the road, South Caernarfon Creameries supply us with high-quality
Welsh milk, award winning cheeses, butter and buttermilk. The company
is Wales' only farmer owned dairy co-operative which now has nearly
200 members.

www.welshladypreserves.com
Welsh Lady Preserves came to life in 1966. That was
when Dio and Marion Jones made their first batch of traditional Lemon
Cheese under the name of “Welsh Lady". Soon marmalades
and various high quality fruit preserves were added to the range.
All products are still made in small batches, with no artificial colourings,
flavourings or preservatives used. The Welsh range also includes savoury
accompaniments like Wholegrain Mustards, Chutneys and Jellies. We
are delighted to stock the Welsh Lady products, especially when they
are made just down the road from us.

www.snowdoniacheese.co.uk
Denbigh based Snowdonia Cheese Company offers
a delicious range of award winning Welsh chesses. Our Farm Shop can’t
do without them – they are definitely customers’ favourite!
So if you are a cheese lover, indulge yourself with a piece of Little
Black Bomber, spicy Red Devil or herby Green Thunder and many others…
Nuts & Co.
Adam and Penny
gave up their jobs to dedicate their time to their hobby that soon
became a way to earn money. Our relationship started in 2006 and since
then the delicious range of Nuts&Co. home-made chutneys has been
welcomed on our shelves. We need to mention that Glasfryn Farm Shop
was the first one to sell Nuts&Co. products. They create all the
recipes themselves, source quality ingredients locally if possible
and put their hearts in to what they produce. Our favourite is Spicy
Carrot Jam, followed by Beetroot and Orange Preserve. Try it before
it goes!
The Celtic Kitchen
The Celtic
Kitchen is a small family business based on the beautiful Isle of
Anglesey. Charlotte and her family team, combine traditional cookery
and old family recipes with the best ingredients the Island has to
offer. Everything is prepared and cooked by hand in small batches.
There is NO room for artificial preservatives, flavours, added water
or gelling agents in the Celtic Kitchen products. And as Charlotte
reassures us, there is hardly any sugar added when it comes to jams
and jellies, which have usually very high fruit content (90%).
Edern Honey
We source our Welsh wildflower honey directly from
Wern Las Farm, Edern. It’s as good as it gets and it travels
only 10 miles to get on our shelves!
Popty'r Bryn
Nerys Roberts
from Popty’r Bryn, based on the Isle of Anglesey, operates her
business from home, and to be more specific, from a purpose built
commercial kitchen. Nerys is a living example of transforming her
hobby into a successful business. We love her traditional Bara Brith
and mouth watering shortbreads, but we are crazy about her Treacle
Toffee – big or small – one can’t resist it!
Wyau Gwenallt
Eggs
As a Farm Shop we wouldn’t be forgiven
if we didn’t stock Free Range eggs. Our eggs come from the farm
in Llaniestyn, which is situated only 12 miles away from us. Food
miles matter to us!
www.gwyneddconfectioners.co.uk

almost 20 years. With a unique ability to design and manufacture innovative

www.patchwork-pate.co.uk
The
Patchwork Food Co. supplies us with an amazing range of award-winning
pâtes. They come at a premium price, but believe us –
there is a reason for it! Despite the commercial scale of the company
today, everything is still hand-made in small batches, without artificial
colouring, additives or preservatives, to Margaret’s original
recipes. She established The Patchowork Pâté company
in 1982 when she found herself divorced with three children to look
after. With a start up cost of just £9.00, saved from the housekeeping,
she began selling her home made pâtés to pubs nearby
Llangollen. And now, you can try them for yourself, visit our Farm
Shop to see the range she’s created.
