Carbonara
Ingredients:
Pasta
Onions
Smoked bacon
Garlic
Sausages
White wine
Cream
Parmesan
Parsley
Eggs
Method
Cook the sausages.
Bring the water to a boil for the pasta
and cook as per instructions on the
packet.
Sautée the bacon in a deep frying
pan. Once cooked, add the onions and
garlic and fry for a few minutes being careful not to burn
the garlic or it will
give a bitter taste.
Add a splash of wine and reduce.
Add the cream and a small amount of
grated parmesan.
Add the cooked sausage.
Once the sauce has thickened add the
cooked pasta and coat.
Serve with garlic bread and grated
parmesan.
