The French Market Returned!
Glasfryn Parc was once again delighted to once again host a traditional
French Market on Friday 21st August 2009....we'll keep you posted
with other market dates just as soon as they become available.
The market consisted
of stallholders from France who regularly travel to the UK to sell
their goods and products. There was a magnificent cheese lorry with
a truly enormous selection of French cheeses. Freshly baked bread,
delicious Patisserie temptations and a charcuterie with a wonderful
selection of saucissons and homemade butter biscuits were also on
offer.
For those with a sweet
tooth, there were wonderful natural farm made jams and natural cider
and apple juice and Calvados as well the hugely popular crepes stall.
For those with a small space left, the sweet stall was making fresh
pralines, almonds and cashews on site. And for those who like South
of France, there were handmade soaps from Marseille, lavenders, tablecloths
and wines from Provence… Oh, La la…!!!
Glasfryn Farm Shop also
had a stall selling farm-reared Welsh Black Beef, lamb and home-made
burgers, sausages and their award winning Cig Moch Pen Llyn.
Le Marche de France,
a UK Limited company, has been established for 8 years now and is
regularly holding French Market events in the whole of the UK. With
genuine French traders coming each week from Normandy, Marche de France
strives in being one of the only few genuine French market teams touring
the UK, with produce coming direct from the producers. This guaranties
not only the origin of the food, but also the quality and freshness
of the food presented at the events. Moreover, costs are kept down
to guarantee customers satisfaction at each of the events held.
